Attorney at Law Impola Ltd is a Finnish law firm established in 2000. We have wide range knowledge of different kinds of legal matters. We serve our clients on a wide range of civil, criminal, and administrative law issues. We provide services in all legal matters in Finland. Our clients are located all over Finland and abroad and consist of both companies and private individuals.

The main basis for our legal services is the interest of our client combined with an individual service. PRINCIPLES

The assignment fee is determined by the amount and quality of work required for the assignment.

In addition, we charge separately the direct costs and value added tax (VAT). A fee for a particular assignment is based on the interest, nature, extent, and difficulty of an assignment. A fee can be raised if an assignment is carried out during an exceptional time; the circumstances are difficult; the case is very urgent; the responsibilities of the attorney are broader than usual; the assignment is particularly necessary to a client or the interests in a case are particularly significant. We provide an assignment confirmation upon request.

Our office follows The Finnish Bar Association´s code of conduct for lawyers and the guidelines of the Bar Association concerning fees when determining the fee for an assignment.

In addition to the actual assignment fee, we charge separately the direct costs incurred in handling the matter, such as travel expenses. Primarily, the client is responsible for expenses paid to outsiders, such as government expenses.

THE GROUNDS OF THE FEE

A fee for a particular assignment is mainly based on the time used in handling the case. The fee can be agreed to be a fixed price. Travelling time will be charged based on the same principles as fees. The minimum time charge unit is 10 minutes.

FEES IN COURT PROCEEDINGS

A fee for handling a court proceeding is at least 500 €/h with value added tax 24 %, which equals at least 620 €/h.

DOCUMENT HANDLING AND OTHER COSTS

ADVANCE PAYMENTS

The office may require advance payment to cover our fees and expenses.

LEgal expenses insurance

Legal fees are reimbursed in accordance with the terms and conditions of your legal expenses insurance. Our office will find out from your insurance company the possibility of obtaining legal expenses compensation from the valid legal security insurance. For individuals, legal expenses insurance is mainly covered by home insurance, which does not cover disputes related to gainful employment, employment relationships or entrepreneurship.

The price list is valid from 1st January 2024.
